On Lobby Day in Albany, March 13, a bus load of Time Out From Testing parents, teachers, and students joined the Chancellor's Parent Advisory Council (CPAC) and the UFT to meet with state representatives in Albany.

More than a dozen members of the State Assembly's Education Committee and their staffs met with representatives from Time Out From Testing.

Most of the representatives visited xpressed their solidarity with Time Out From Testing's position regarding excessive and high stakes testing, even offering personal stories of their own about the negative impact of high stakes testing.

Several also expressed deep concern regarding mayoral control.
